Supporting Our Seniors: $5,000 Donation to Age Concern

The Lions Club of Middle Districts is proud to announce a $5,000 donation to Age Concern Palmerston North & Districts Charitable Trust—supporting essential services and activities for older people in our community.

Age Concern Manawatu is our local branch of a respected national organisation dedicated to the wellbeing and independence of older persons. They do remarkable work through a variety of programmes and events that help foster independence, safety, and vibrant social connections.

Whether it’s offering exercise classes focused on balance and mobility, running driver’s refresher courses to keep people confidently and safely on the road, or hosting regular events that bring people together, Age Concern makes a real difference in the lives of seniors throughout Palmerston North and surrounding districts.

Middle Districts Lions is delighted to support Age Concern with funds that will help deliver these valuable services. We know that staying active, connected, and informed is vital for enjoying life at any age, and we’re proud to be making this investment in our community’s future.
